Ladies and gentlemen, I'm glad to announce that after many delays the Tactics Engine Roleplay system is not only complete, but ready for your use. I apologize for the delay, initial playtesting took a bit longer than I thought. I still can't figure out how to post the spreadsheet (Players handbook) without having to log in to access it. I'll ask Kayin this week if he has any idea as to how I'd post that. If not I suppose I could just post the info on the page.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Makaris, Waffle, Hayde, The_Mad_Pr0phet, SuperErb?, and Ian for their contributions and input. Without you guys, balancing would have been ridiculously hard. I'd also like to thank my wife for putting up with all of my dorky endeavors while trying to finish the system. Finally Kayin, thank you for letting me use your web space and giving me a reason to finish the system. You all played an integral role in getting this RP system to the masses.
So, posting the completed sheet for everyone to access is a little harder than I thought...
I plan on running a game some time in the next two months, maybe on the weekends, online of course. It's not quite the same experience as the tabletop version, but beggars can't be choosers I suppose.
At least I WOULD be celebrating if I could figure out how to post the manual...Buuut, it's too large to attach to the page. I'm going to try to create a link where players can download the manual from a seperate site.
So here we are several months after my last update, still sitting on the "players handguide". I figured I'd bring you news of my next projects, a Castlevania tabletop that works as a sidescroller, and a Secret of Mana tabletop engine that is actually pretty far along in the works. I already have about 85% of the game stated out, now I get to figure out how the numbers work. It looks like it functions on the same principals as the Tactics engine and I can probably make it work with the D100 system.
