I apologize, it's just that we're dealing with important matters over here.

You follow them down, through a series of tunnels and pathways before coming upon a cafeteria-like room, a man and a woman sitting at a table, playing chess.

"Guys, I don't believe I've introduced you to this guy. Meet Cale," says Bill, introducing you to the other two, who look at you. The man is svelte, and has blonde hair with blue highlights, wearing a purple shirt and yellow shutter shades. The woman looks shy, wearing a blue scarf, with a dog plush seated next to her. She has big olive eyes, and short-cut blonde hair.

"Hello, Cale," says the man. "I'm Lemmy." He holds out his hand.

[Velocity]

You're not making any sense, but I know full well you're not going to tell me no matter how much I probe.

"Hey. Nice to meet you."

Shake his hand, and turn to the woman.

"And who would you be?"

She takes her time making her move before answering.

"...Lauren." She just kind of stares at you, unblinking.

[Velocity]

"...I'm Cale. Good meeting you, too."

Turn to the others.

"So... While I'm here, do you have a computer or something I can use? I feel like hacking, so if you have any requests, I'm happy to carry them out."

[DraconicDescendant]

"A computer?" asks Bill. "Well, I don't think Alex would want y-"

"We'll get you your own computer," says Alex. "Don't worry, it might take a while, but I'm sure you can find a way to occupy yourself while we get it set up for you."

[Velocity]

"So I'm here long-term, then? Good, saves me finding another job."

Sit myself down, and try to remember how I ended up getting a job with these guys in the first place.

You remember when you started working with the Nest. They were interested in your abilities, so Ishmael contacted you directly through your computer.

You first met the Roaches on assignment from the Nest, you were sent to a bar that they frequented, and you impressed Bill with your hacking skills, allowing you to get inside and do some work with killbots for them.

[Velocity]

Watch the chess game, secretly judging both of them based on who's winning.

You realize that this game looks like a match between a pair of professional players, seeing as they take a considerable amount of time between moves, and even though there are a large amount of pieces lost on both sides, the game could still go either way.

Remember how touchy Alex seemed in that last conversation, and look at all the signals I'm picking up.

Several cell phones, mainly, but you can also still feel the robots you worked on earlier at the edge of your field of awareness, and a few computers. Alex is the explosive type of person, so you might not want to mess with them.

[Velocity]

Take a brief look into the robots, seeing if they managed to get new software.

They sorted the problem out, and the robots are in perfect working order. You're not sure what they're planning on using them for, though.

Find out what they're planning to use those for.

Ishmael is quick on your assignments, like that.

"Come to think of it, giant robots with heavy weaponry are barely subtle enough to be used for everyday terrorism. What're you planning on doing with them?"

[DraconicDescendant]

"Those things?" asks Lemmy. "Well, ask Alex. I'm not sure."

You note that Alex has left the room, along with Bill. You're not quite sure where they went, but you note that there's a pair of double doors to your right, a single door on the wall behind you, and another door next to a sink in the wall in front of you.
