You pass through the village, many women and children stopping to watch you pass. The village is made primarily of log buildings, with a number of functioning facilities such as a mill, and even a smithy!
You enter the largest longhouse in the village, a feast hall before you. In the back, upon a throne, sits the chief. You are led up to him, many guards on either side.
"...You have come to our village, because you are an enemy of Mighton? Why should we believe you?" asks the chief after several moments.

He warned the peaceful town of Whitewater about me, so I killed them all. He warned the war-focused city of Mighton about me, as well, so I want to destroy it in a military victory. I want him to realise that what he's doing is useless... that nothing's going to stop me... I want him to feel afraid."

"But my motives aren't important. You'd obviously benefit from the fall of Mighton, and if you contributed soldiers towards the attack, that would make it easier. I could offer my assistance towards any issues you have in the meantime."
